How we started
A cart, a kettle, and a lot of café cubano.
SOLÉ began in 2012 as a single cart on the corner of 12th and Ocean — Marisol pulling shots while Diego ran beans back and forth from a borrowed grinder. We were open before the surfers and closed after the sun went down.
Twelve years on, we still roast in small batches a few blocks away, and we still know most of our regulars by their order. Every bean is traceable to a single farm, roasted for brightness, and never sits more than a week before it reaches your cup.
